Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour: 28.2%
  • Milk: 24.1%
  • Bread flour: 23.1%
  • Water: 7.7%
  • Raisins: 4.2%
  • Carolina Craft fine grind: 3.2%
  • Sugar: 3.1%
  • Vegetable oil: 2.7%
  • Carolina Original: 2%
  • Salt: 0.8%
  • Yeast: 0.7%
  • Cinnamon: 0.1%
  • Nutmeg: 0.1%

Procedure:

  • Blend milk, water, and vegetable oil and heat to 120°F.
  • Add blend to mixer, followed by bread flour, sugar, Carolina Original, salt, and yeast.
  • Blend for five minutes on medium speed.
  • Add remaining ingredients and blend well until dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Let dough proof for 30 minutes or until double in size.
  • Punch dough down and form into desired loaf shape.
  • Proof for another 30 minutes.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes at 375°F.
  • Remove from oven and cool.
