Ingredients:

  • Tomato paste: 35%
  • Carolina Original: 22%
  • White vinegar: 18.7%
  • Corn syrup: 11%
  • Water: 9.5%
  • Evaporated cane juice: 2.5%
  • Salt: 1%
  • Onion powder: 0.2%
  • Garlic powder: 0.1%

Procedure:

  • Blend ingredients and heat slowly to 212°F in steam kettle while agitating constantly.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes while continuing to agitate to avoid scorching.
  • Remove from heat, place in heat-proof container, and refrigerate.
