Ingredients:

  • Fresh coarse ground pork (30% fat): 92%
  • Carolina Craft fine grind: 5%
  • Salt: 1.5%
  • Coarse ground black pepper: 0.5%
  • Garlic powder: 0.5%
  • Onion powder: 0.3%
  • Ground basil: 0.1%
  • Ground thyme: 0.1%

Procedure:

  • Blend all ingredients until combined—avoid over mixing.
  • Form into desired size patty and cook to internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for three minutes to allow internal juices to equilibrate.
  • Serve immediately.
